'Notes' is a Rotterdam-based platform founded by and for local youth, dedicated to fostering community and connection through events like BBQs and block parties, particularly in urban spaces experiencing gentrification. These events serve as a powerful way to bring people together and celebrate the vibrant culture of the area.
In support of this mission, the 'Take Notes' Foundation (Stichting Take Notes) was established on June 21, 2023. The foundation expands the reach and impact of 'Notes', providing a more structured approach to community engagement, social awareness, and positive societal change.
Together, 'Notes' and 'Take Notes' work to create safe spaces for young people, while encouraging personal growth and promoting a deeper understanding of their role in shaping the future of Rotterdam's urban landscape.
